As part of the restaurant renovation project, a natural wood floor covering with metal inlays between the planks was required to give a more sophisticated look.
This is how the room looked like when we started working on the site.
The old floor covering was dismantled, a new frame made of metal and wood was installed, and plywood was laid in two layers for the further laying of engineered oak flooring. The plywood is necessarily sanded with a special drum machine, and the dust is removed with a vacuum cleaner.
The customer chose engineered oak flooring with a thickness of 20 mm and a width of 180 mm. At our production facility, the planks were pre-sanded and coated with a stain and protective lacquer to increase durability. The inlays were made of brass. The process of laying the planks in different directions is a complex task that can only be performed by professionals.
As a result, we achieved an excellent look. The implementation turned out even better than in the original project visualizations, don't you think?
